| SKEPTICAL?
It is all right
to be skeptical
It is quite normal to be skeptical. This is why they all said later
on they were SURPRISED how well the patches work. They all felt
they didn't want to eat as much as they used to eat. That is all
that is needed to succeed.
The excuse 'I love
food'
Neither you nor anybody else believes in this excuse for eating
more than your body needs. We all love food. Our love for food is
not the problem. Our uncontrolled eating more than the body needs
and eating fattening foods is the real problem. Once we have the
habit of eating until we can eat no more, we are on the road to
obesity. We have to change that habit and establish a new habit
to love eating only until we feel the first "red stop light"
coming on that our stomach is full. The excess between the first
feeling of being full and the feeling of being stuffed is what is
stored in fat. The excess of fat is equal to carrying around a backpack
with rocks. It is murder on our feet, our knees, our hip joints
and overall health. STOP the excesses and stop treating your own
body like your worst enemy by making it carry around the excess
weight on a daily basis.
To help you stay
on course
You can read in many books by health professionals that even 10
lbs or 20 lbs overweight will decrease your energy level, physical
functioning and overall quality of life. This is also a known risk
factor for diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, gallbladder
disease, stroke and some forms of cancer - plus an increased risk
of overall mortality. In some weeks you will lose more weight and
in other weeks less weight and in some weeks you may also stay unchanged.
As long as you lose a few pounds each month, you will reach your
goal without any doubt. Stay on course even if you experience some
disappointments. Never give up!
Many important facts are repeated a few times in
these 8 pages because this has to be absorbed well enough to get
away from the causes of overweight.
Within a week you should not only be used to the
food plan, but enjoying your new foods. Always chew your food thoroughly
and eat slowly.
