Natural Remedies & Supplements: The Book

Medical drug activists are medical doctors that harass health food stores, pharmacies and wholesalers selling natural remedies and supplements. There are a number of medical drug activists in the States as well as in Canada. The easiest way to spread their hate of natural medicines is to use web sites. Some web sites attack one natural remedy only. Others give names of US drug manufacturers that support them. Their aim is to remove all natural medicines from the market and to sell only synthetic patented drugs. At first only health food stores were selling vitamins, minerals and other natural medicines. When pharmacies noticed that there was a trend by the population of North America to natural medicines and most adults were starting to take vitamins and other natural medicines, virtually all pharmacies made space in their stores for natural remedies and supplements. You have probably seen TV and newspaper advertisements by pharmacy chains saying that they now carry natural remedies and supplements. People decided that they want these remedies and medical drug activists will not change this trend with their harassing. If you do go on those web sites of the drug activists, you will see more hateful statements than in any other field. If you wonder why this is so, you will no doubt find your own answer to this type of competition.

The fact that many natural remedies help people more than synthetic patented drugs is of no interest to the drug activists. This is hard to believe. However, it is true. You would think that helping people is more important in the "healing" profession than any other consideration. Integrity, decency and fairness does not enter their way of dealing with others. They have only one mission to destroy the "enemy" which sells "quackery" remedies. Even one of the most distinguished scientists in North America Dr. Linus Pauling, honored two times with a Nobel Prize, was called a "quack" by these radicals, because he was recommending high doses of vitamin C.

Drug Activists Websites We cannot stop the medical drug activists to make untruthful statements on the internet. It is a free-for-all. The medical activists are taunting us, why don't we sue them. It appears they would love that with all the money they have no doubt available. The following is taken word for word from their own web site: "Currently, Quackwatch is being sued by many doctors and health organizations in the US". …."web site was shut down by the internet server at 3.30p.m. on July 4th, 2001, because it had become legally untenable for the server: too many law suits had been generated for its hate information and distortions of fact about people and medical issues."

Who pays for the drug activist's court cases? We don't know. Your guess is as good as ours. Court cases, as you know, can run into large amounts of money.

Drug Activists Are Spreading Hate

In no other field, that I'm aware of, you will find this hate mongering among competitors. From many stores we hear that business is not affected by drug activists in a noticeable way. However, a few stores said they had customers coming in and asking questions about the drug activist's web site. After the stores show the customer the facts documented by a large number of other consumer testimonials as to how much relief they had, they are satisfied. What is disappointing is that those drug activists can make inflammatory, hateful and untruthful statements about all health food stores and pharmacies as well as wholesalers without giving facts. This is highly offensive to say that all these trade shows, health food stores, pharmacies including all chain stores and wholesalers all across North America in the health care field are dealing with "quackery". After all virtually all men and women in North America interested in their health and prevention are taking vitamins, minerals and supplements. This is a majority of people and they decided what is the right thing and what is the wrong thing to do. Contrary to what the activists say and their bullying, I think people in a large segment of the population are always smarter than individuals and they set the trend in all fields including politics and health matters.

About Double Blind Studies & Surveys

In all those letters (hundreds of them) we received, customers wrote saying that natural products were far superior to all the drugs they took over many years. Some took drugs for 30 or 50 years for their arthritis. They say their doctor prescribed all the drugs available with little or no help. Many wrote they were saved knee and hip replacements by taking Bell Shark Cartilage. Nothing can be more important than what people say - nothing! Testimonials with full names and towns are the only reliable surveys

When I had my enlarged prostate problem (the Bell Prostate Tea solved my problem in 3 days later on) my urologist asked me whether I want to participate in a double blind study with a new drug that may or may not be available after the study is finished. I told him on the spot "NO WAY", double blind studies are inhuman. After 6 months I may find out that I had placebos all along. Or they would say the drug is not available anymore or will never be available, because of the side effects. I never figured out why anybody would participate in a double blind study or why anybody would put this kind of treatment on any human being.

I have the name of a doctor who said the same thing. I dare not quote his name as he would be swamped with hateful comments. We do not need double blind studies to find out that prayers or a strong mind can have a positive healing effect without medications. Medical doctors have stated this many times in their books.

In the same week another newspaper article says it cost 100 million to 400 million dollars to put drugs through “scientific studies” for each drug. Contracts signed with the medical schools give drug manufacturers complete control of what part of the “scientific studies” are published and what parts are supressed. This is certainly not the way to go for natural medicines. It appears the new regulations that are being formulated are heading into that “scientific” directions. I hope I’m wrong.

If you go on one of the web sites of the drug activists, you will find they have NO FACTS against natural medicines. They have only skilful abuse, sneaky comments and innuendoes. People with a crisp mind can spot this fact right away.
