One randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind study involving 28 adults of an average of 75 years found that rosemary made a difference in cognitive function. However, the researchers warned that if you go to extremely high doses (around 6000 mg), it can have the opposite effect. 

Even smelling it has an effect. In another study, simply by smelling essence of rosemary participants experienced cognitive improvement. However, don't worry if you're not inhaling its fragrance, researchers measured its effects by looking for the compound from rosemary, 1,8-cineole in the blood.  

Research indicates that rosemary also promotes healthy acetylcholinesterase levels.

Magnesium Citrate

Some nutrition experts call magnesium the "energy" mineral. It's responsible for more than 300 enzyme reactions in your body and is found in every inch of tissue. But the highest concentrations are found in your bones, muscles . . . and your brain.

Dimethyglycine (DMG)
