Charting
doesn't warn in advance
Charting temperature changes is an important practice that helps
women understand their individual cycles-and the better they know
their cycle, the better luck they'll have conceiving. But the basal
thermometer method is designed only to help determine when ovulation
has occurred. It does not warn in advance like ovulation prediction
kits do.
Urinary
tests can become expensive
Urinary ovulation prediction tests are designed to detect a luteinizing
hormone (LH) surge just before ovulation. This only gives couples
24 to 36 hours advance notice. It can take as long as 24 hours for
sperm to reach the egg, and an egg can die in as few as six hours
after its release. So for some couples, that may not be enough of
a window of opportunity. As well, the LH surge is sudden and can
disappear quickly. So unless a woman tests her urine at the right
time, the test could be unclear: she could actually miss it. That's
why some urine test kits suggest testing twice a day. And since
urine-based predictor test strips are not reusable, this method
can become extremely costly
Focus
on ovulation with Maybe Baby
In 1957, scientists discovered that increased estrogen levels, in
the three to four days prior to ovulation and the two to three days
following ovulation, could be detected in saliva. The hormone causes
a fern-leaf pattern to form on slides, which can be seen through
a microscope, Of course, very few women have a microscope at home
so this method of predicting ovulation has not been readily accessible.
Until now. Maybe BabyTM is a mini microscope that allows a woman
to take this simple, accurate fertility test anytime, anywhere!
Pregnant
pause.
It only takes a few moments to take the Maybe BabyTM fertility
test. Simply place a small amount of saliva on the lens, allow
to dry, and look through Fern-leaf pattern: the viewfinder.
See a frost-like, fern-leaf pattern and it's a good time to
try for a baby – see formless dots, and it's not. |

A
boy or a girl?
Maybe you con decide. Male sperm swim faster but die sooner, female
sperm swim slower but live longenthis simple fact may help couples
use timing to influence the sex of their child. It is believed that
the chance of conceiving a girl is greater two to three days before
ovulation; and that it's more likely to be a boy if conceived on
the day of or the day following ovulation. The key is pinpointing
ovulation-that's how Maybe BabyTm helps!
